Middle Peninsula Northern Neck (MPNN) Community Services Board (CSB) provides counseling support for adults and youth who experience serious problems in functioning related to Mental Health and Substance Use disorders.
Comprehensive Needs Assessment
The service begins with a Comprehensive Needs Assessment which will help to identify a thorough plan to help the individual move toward their goals and improve their daily functioning. The Comprehensive Needs Assessment includes gathering information about the following:
- Legal and educational history
- Mental and medical health
- Specific problems the individual would like to address
- Substance use
- Trauma history
Follow Up Appointment
The individual will then be scheduled for a follow up appointment for those services and supports or be referred to a community provider.
